Hello

For more than 24 years, I worked with non-profit health care organizations to solve tough health and health care challenges. Sometimes this was as a consultant to government agencies, other times developing and coaching leaders. No matter the role, my focus is always on collaborative partnership, which is the lens I bring to coaching. I began my coaching journey in 2023 and have worked with many clients since to help them get clearer on their individual important questions about their leadership and their career.

Why did I call my coaching practice "Forward Pace"? 

The concept of moving forward at whatever pace works in the moment comes from my years as a distance runner and triathlete. I have competed in hundreds of races over my long athletic career, including finishing two Ironman triathlons. As I have gotten older, and the thrill of competition has given way to the joy of completing a challenge, I embrace "moving forward" as my pace. We all move forward at different paces at different times in our lives. Career movement is no different. No matter where you are in your career journey, working with a leadership coach can help you gain clarity on what forward movement looks like for you. Right now.

What I believe

I believe in listening first, leading with empathy, that everyone can be an innovator, and the client always has all the answers. I believe rest is important, reading is critical, and life does not equal work. My purpose in life is to nuture two kind and empathetic men (my sons), to share my gifts in the spirit of helping others, to improve the health of the people everywhere and to be happy.
